سواد انتقادی رسانه در کلاس‌های آموزش زبان انگلیسی؛ اهمیت آگاهی بخشی انتقادی به زبان آموزان در عصر جهانی شدن فرهنگ

چکیده

تفحص در گفتمان رسانه‌ای، شاخه‌ای سودمند و جا افتاده در تحلیل انتقادی کلام است که با هدف شناسایی و شناساندن جهت‌گیری‌‌‌‌های رسانه‌‌‌ای، صورت می‌‌‌گیرد. پژوهش حاضر درصدد است با آشنا کردن دانشجویان زبان انگلیسی با فعالیت‌های آگاهی دهنده‌ی زبانی، نقش و جایگاه دانش انتقادی رسانه را در کلاس‌های زبان در عصر جهانی شدن فرهنگ و رسانه بررسی نماید. جامعه‌ی آماری این پژوهش، شامل دانشجویان و فارغ‌‌‌التحصیلان زبان انگلیسی دانشگاه ارومیه است که قبل از دوره‌ی آموزشی در آزمون تافل شرکت کرده‌اند. از میان این گروه، افرادی که نمره‌ی 500 و بالاتر را کسب کرده بودند برای شرکت در دوره‌ی مزبور دعوت شدند. دوره‌ی آموزشی شامل تفکر انتقادی، ابزارهای پروپاگاندا، چینش کلمات، تحلیل سرخط خبرها، منابع قدرت و وابستگی‌های سازمانی تأثیر‌گذار بر گزارش‌های خبری بود؛ به‌علاوه، هر جلسه مشتمل بر خواندن یک متن جهت‌دار برگرفته از تعدادی از منابع آموزشی زبان انگلیسی و متون رسانه‌ای از جمله هرالد تریبون، سی ان ان، اینترنت و کتاب‌های رایج آموزش انگلیسی به همراه تحلیل آن‌ها بود. بعد از خواندن متون مطبوعاتی، شرکت‌کنندگان با بیان دیدگاه‌های خود به بحث و گفت‌وگو درباره‌ی آن‌ها می‌پرداختند. در پایان دوره از شرکت‌کنندگان خواسته شد تا نظرشان را درباره‌ی کل دوره‌ی آموزشی بیان کنند. یافته‌های توصیفی و کیفی پژوهش نشان داد که شرکت‌کنندگان نسبت به این دوره گرایش مثبت داشته و انگیزه‌ی بالایی برای افزایش سواد انتقاد رسانه‌ای خود دارند.
