Journal Article 2020 11 18 As a modern political thought inspired by life politics, multiculturalism attempts to change public opinion. It is as Westphalian citizenship leaning on the transnational and liberal dimensions of democracy. Whereas by agnostic interpretation of politics and relying on the national and security-based aspect of democracy, the radical right parties label the discourse of multiculturalism as an opponent of the open society. The contrast of such parties to multiculturalism deepened to some extent that epistemological borrowing from mainstream parties has expanded their constituencies. Accordingly, the main question of this paper is how the radical right parties mobilize the electoral voting and whether the changing politics in democratic life will survive multiculturalism? The main idea is that the rising immigration waves, economic instability, and protest politics both with multiparty and proportional representation systems lead to increasing the votes of radical right parties. Despite of turning politics to right, the institutionalization of multiculturalism will lead to getting rid of politics and guaranty the survival of this discourse. Finally, by employing the theory of group threat and the analytic-explanative method, this paper will test the mentioned hypothesis at sociological, partisan, and systematic levels. چندفرهنگ‌گرایی به‌مثابه یک اندیشه سیاسی مدرن است که ملهم از سیاست زیستی درصدد تغییر افکار عمومی است. این گفتمان به‌عنوان بدیل شهروندی وستفالیایی، بر بال فراملی‌گرا و آزادی‌خواهانه دموکراسی تکیه می‌زند. حال آن‌که احزاب راست رادیکال با خوانش رواقی از سیاست و نشستن بر بال امنیتی و ملی‌گرای دموکراسی، گفتمان چندفرهنگ‌گرایی را دشمن جامعه باز می‌دانند. ضدّیت این احزاب با چنین گفتمانی تا حدّی پیش رفت که با استقراض معرفتی از آموزه‌های احزاب اصلی، در تلاش برای تعریض پایگاه رأی خودشان هستند. بر این اساس، پرسش اصلی پژوهش جاری این است که چگونه احزاب راست رادیکال به بسیج آراء انتخاباتی دست می‌زنند و با توجّه به چرخش سیاست در زیست دموکراتیک، شانسی برای بقای گفتمان چندفرهنگ‌‎گرایی به‌جا می‌ماند؟ ایده اصلی نگاشته حاضر این است که رشد مهاجرت، ناامنی اقتصادی و سیاست اعتراضی در کنار سیستم چندحزبی و نظام انتخاباتیِ نمایندگی تناسبی باعث افزایش آراء احزاب راست رادیکال می‌شود. لیکن با وجود چرخش سیاست به راست، نهادینگی گفتمان چندفرهنگ‌گرایی باعث درآمدن از حصر سیاست و تضمین بقایش می‌شود. پژوهش جاری با الهام از نظریه تهدید گروهی و روش‌شناسی تحلیلی- تبیینی، دست به فرضیه‌آزمایی در سطوح جامعه‌شناختی، حزبی و سیستمی می‌زند. https://sspp.iranjournals.ir/article_247496_340c0c1d5cc044eb870c2b9bf888b0db.pdf
