The Nordic Council and international policy-making of National Imagery and branding; happiness window to the contemporary world

Abstract

Nordic council consist of five countries including Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland and three autonomous land including Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland Islands. All of these countries have a high level of national brand and international image. Today, Scandinavian and Nordic countries are real window of happiness and prosperity for many of the countries in the world and their Governance, economic, cultural, social, business and politics are sample of many countries. Basically Nordic countries and their image and even their name have mental processes, perception and visual that comes with many fascinating concepts which combine with happiness. Thesis paper examine process of national and regional branding in Nordic council and emphasize that Nordic Council policy on the process of national branding and image building for each of the countries have been coordinated and convergent. Result of the this process made global and regional brand and regional image for Nordic countries.
