Abstract

In the last few decades, several studies have been conducted on the psychological constructs associated with the experience of crisis, the main focus of which were on the concept of resilience. Resilience is the ability of problem solving and being adapted to critical situations. That is, when we face serious socio-economic, psychological problems and crisis, how much we can be resistant, and more importantly, whether we have the power to overcome these difficult situations. For many years, researchers have been exploring the determinants of resilience, but this research is seeking to conceptualize a kind of resilience called cultural resilience. in which those abilities are studied that the culture gives us in order not to suffer in difficult circumstances, not to be harmed, to be adapted to, and to be able to behave properly as before. Methodologically, this study was a systemic review study. The keywords of "Resilience", "Community", "Culture", and "Hardness" were searched from Pubmed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Magiran and SID databases with "AND" index. Finally, 23 relevant articles were founded. Because of interdisciplinary studies, a definition of this construct is obtained: cultural resilience is the capacity and ability to cope with the crisis and solve it with the help of historical methods, myths, customs and group beliefs. In addition, the components of it include dependency, trust, commitment, feeling of pride, and collectivism.
