As a global challenge in the 21st century, the Covid-19 pandemic has had numerous economic, social, cultural and environmental consequences on different countries around the world. Due to the arrival of tourists from all over the country, Mazandaran province was one of the first provinces where Corona spread. Therefore, the current research has investigated the effects of the spread of the corona virus on the rural and urban communities of Mazandaran using a quantitative method, a survey technique, and a questionnaire tool, in order to identify the upcoming challenges and solutions to mitigate them and strategies for next crises. The statistical sample consisted of 408 people who were questioned through an online questionnaire whose face validity and reliability were confirmed by asking the opinion of a panel of experts and Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Based on the results of the research, the consequences of the corona epidemic were categorized into three economic, social and cultural categories and the obstacles ahead were also prioritized in these dimensions. Also, economic, social and cultural solutions to moderate the effects of the Corona epidemic at the community level were presented and prioritized.
